Notes: Meet Charlie, a handsome six year old Golden Doodle with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Charlie came into our care after struggling in a home environment that was not the right fit for his energy and needs. Since then, he has shown us what a smart, playful, and affectionate boy he truly is. Charlie has had extensive training and really thrives with routine, structure, and clear direction. He is a talker at times and can be vocal when he is excited or unsure, but he listens beautifully once he understands expectations. Charlie enjoys the company of other dogs and can do very well with them, though he may show dominant or mouthy behaviors and still benefits from confident leadership. He does very well around children, however given his strength and higher energy level, a family with kids who can confidently handle a larger dog and participate in continued training will be the best match. Adult only homes or homes with older, dog savvy children are ideal. Charlie is fully vetted, loving, loyal, and so ready to finally settle into his forever home. He will thrive with an experienced family who can continue providing leadership, guidance, and plenty of love and playtime. In the right environment, Charlie is a funny, devoted, and truly wonderful companion.
