Notes: Meet Indigo (aka Indie—or “Digs” if you’re in her inner circle!) Indigo is a 4.5-year-old Whoodle (Wheaten Terrier x Poodle), weighing just 23 lbs. She’s small but mighty—full of personality, highly intelligent, and knows all her basics (sit, down, paw, roll over). She thrives in a home with structure, routine, and clear boundaries. Indie came to us as a loving owner surrender due to protective behavior in the home. While we didn’t observe those behaviors in our care, a recent placement helped clarify what she truly needs: to be the solo dog in a female-led home where she can be the center of attention. She’s loyal, independent, and bonds deeply once she feels safe. Like any smart, sensitive pup, she needs mental stimulation—otherwise, you might see the occasional “temper tantrum” (like bed-grabbing or pillow mouthing). Indie prefers her space and her people over other pets and would do best in a calm, child-free home.
